Three swings we teach by name

Every AutoSysNet course maps back to these frameworks. Study the outlines here, then deepen them in live training with annotated charts.

Pullback continuation

Enter after an impulse leg when price pauses against structure without breaking the prior swing low (long) or high (short).

  1. Mark the impulse and last confirmed pivot.
  2. Wait for a pause that holds inside the impulse range.
  3. Enter on resumption; invalidate beyond the pause extreme.
  4. Target prior measured move or opposing level.

Breakout continuation

Trade closes beyond a multi-bar base when volume expands and the first pullback holds the breakout candle.

  1. Require a base of at least five bars.
  2. Confirm close beyond the boundary on expanding volume.
  3. Enter only if the first pullback holds the breakout range.
  4. Project base height; reduce size into major opposing levels.

Failed breakdown reversal

Fade a probe beyond support when price reclaims the level quickly and prints a higher low inside the prior range.

  1. Identify clear horizontal support tested at least twice.
  2. Note a brief break that fails to hold on the next bar.
  3. Enter on reclaim; invalidate below the probe low.
  4. Scale out into mid-range; trail only if structure flips.
